Steel, wrung from the bones of earth, then purified and shaped in fire. Chiseled, hot, with a rune. Pierced for hanging, polished, and finally strung on a leather cord.
I make each rune pendant from mild steel, measuring 1.25" tall, 1" wide, and 1/4" thick. These are good and weighty: each rune weighs over an ounce and a half (40 grams), and the leather cord is thick to match. Each pendant's cord is slip-knotted, to be adjustable from 24 to 36 inches.
Based on the look of the rune and/or your request, I punch each rune's lanyard hole either along the top edge or in one corner (see the photos).
When ordering, send a comment letting me know which of the Elder Futhark runes you wish, and your preference for punch location. I also clear-coat each rune for rust protection; if you would prefer bare steel (which will rust!), let me know that as well.
I will do custom runes and rune bindings, but I reserve the right to *refuse* any binding or symbol that is associated with hate or intolerance. Runes are controversial enough without adding hatred's fuel to the fire.
For Viking enthusiasts: yes, Vikings used runes! But the Elder Futhark rune set is not from the Viking period; it's older. Vikings generally used the Younger Futhark set, and if buyers are interested I will offer Younger Futhark runes as well in a different listing.
Price is for a single rune pendant.
