Cast Bronze Lion Face Bottle Opener

This bottle opener is of my own design, and features a lion’s face derived from designs that the Swedish Vasa ship from the 1600s used on its cannons’ porthole covers.

It’s a design requested by a customer for their father’s birthday, and my Instagram followers liked the design so much that now I offer it to you!

I sculpted the lion face and the opener body myself as a 3D model, and then 3D printed the casting pattern in plastic and resin. The actual opener you will receive is sand cast from ancient-formula tin bronze, using that 3D print as a pattern for making the mold.

Though the photos all show a bronze casting, I also offer brass and aluminum casts of the same form for different prices.
